New Computers:

ComputerWorks offers numerous new computer options for our customers, this includes having a range of various manufacturer’s to choose from on the sales floor. All of our new machines come standard with a manufacturer’s warranty.

Used & Refurbished / Re-certified Computers:

ComputerWorks specializes in alternative computer sales, including both used machines, and machines that have been re-certified / refurbished.  Furthermore, ComputerWorks is certified by Microsoft to refurbish any machines on-site. All of our used and refurbished / re-certified machines come with 1 year ComputerWorks Standard System Parts and Labor Warranty.

Repairs and Upgrades:

ComputerWorks always offers a free advanced diagnostic service, which we strongly suggest all of our customers take advantage of, regardless of where they have purchased their machine.  Note, with every free advanced diagnostic done, the customer does agree to a maximum $39.99 fixed labor charge, if and only if, the machine is repaired accidentally during the duration of the diagnostic. Once the advanced diagnostic is completed, a ComputerWorks technician will call the customer and inform them of the results with any suggestions and quotes for repair. Note further, that ComputerWorks will never charge a customer without authorization for repair, unless the parameters listed above have taken place.

Once the customer has been quoted a repair price, they may choose to decline the  repair for any reason; In this case their machine will be placed on the pick-up rack with $0.00 balance. If the customer chooses to authorize a repair, they will be notified the exact price of the repair, with all charges explained. Once the repair has been completed, the customer will be notified by telephone. If a ComputerWorks representative is not able to reach the customer by phone, a message will be left on the customers voice-mail; if no voice-mail is available the machine will be placed on the pick-up rack and noted properly.

Lastly, all ComputerWorks repairs come with a 30 day labor warranty. Note, the labor warranty does not cover software issues such as viruses, trojans, and malware. If a customer feels they have not received adequate service, ComputerWorks suggests the customer come in the store and contact us immediately. We will make every good faith effort to ensure quality work has been completed, and the highest industry standards have been maintained.

Abandoned Machines, Devices, Peripheral Items, Software, Etc… :

Shelf space in the store is limited, therefore, once a machine has been placed on the pick-up rack, whether the customer has authorized repair or not, it is the customer’s responsibility to ensure the machine is picked up within 30 days. Any machine, device, peripheral item, software, etc… left at ComputerWorks for more than 30 days is subject to seizure , and considered abandoned. Please note, this is clearly presented on all sales orders authorizing diagnostics or repairs, in which the customer signs.

Payment Terms:

ComputerWorks accepts Cash, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express with proper ID. We do not accept personal checks. We do offer a layaway program with a 25% down payment and balance of payments within 30 days.

ComputerWorks will not accept card payment over the phone, and requires signature for all credit card transactions. Note, the signage of a credit card receipt is considered legal confirmation and agreement of all charges.
