Return & Exchange Policy 

Return & Exchange Period:

  • 14 days from date of purchase

Return & Exchange Policy:

  • The original receipt or packaging slip is required for all returns.
  • If returning or exchanging any item in store a valid photo ID is required.
  • All non-defective items are subject to a 15% restocking fee.
  • Returns must have all original packaging and contents of package.

Refund Method:

Refund method will generally be in the same form as original payment. If paid by credit or debit card refund will only be made to the original card used for payment. If the payment was made by cash or check and is greater then $250.00 then a refund will be made in the form of a check mailed within 10 business days.

30 – Day Warranty Exchange Only: No Refunds

Once opened, these products will ONLY be available for exchange.

  • Motherboards
  • Processors
  • Power Supplies
  • Memory
  • Video Cards
  • Hard Drives
  • Any other internal part not installed by a ComputerWorks Technician

Non-Refundable Items:

These items will not be accepted for return or exchange under any circumstance.

  • Damaged or abused items
  • Opened Software
  • Special Order Items
  • Labor, delivery, and/or ComputerWorks completed services
  • Gift Cards / Prepaid Cards

ComputerWorks reserves the right to deny any return or exchange.


It is the customer’s sole responsibility to remove all data/service plans from any item before it is returned or exchanged by ComputerWorks. ComputerWorks will not be held responsible for any cost incurred due to data/service plans remaining on any item at the time of return or exchange.

ComputerWorks reserves the right to amend these terms at any time and to make exceptions on a case-by-case basis.

In rare instances store credit will be the only form of compensation offered to the customer.

Return & Exchange Policy

Returns Without a Receipt:

ComputerWorks keeps a record of all purchases. If you do not have receipt please visit the ComputerWorks location where you purchased the item. In this case, a representative will be able to access your customer information and purchase history. Normal Return and Exchange Policy rules apply.

Due to the nature of some items we sale, if ComputerWorks cannot confirm the item was purchased through us, the item will not be eligible for return or exchange. It is highly recommended by ComputerWorks that the customer keep documentation of all purchases.

Promotional Bundles:

When a bundle is purchased and only part of the bundle is returned the value of the item not returned will be deducted from the total refund amount. For example, if you purchase a Desktop, Monitor bundle and wish to return only the desktop, the full retail value of the monitor will be deducted from the total refund amount.  Retail value is based off the current system price in which used to sale the item.

Online Purchases:

Refunds will be made in the form of the original payment. Returns or exchanges can be mailed in, and the refund will be issued once the item is received.

Customers may visit a retail location to return an item purchased online. A refund will be made in the same form of the original payment. Items may or may not be available for exchange in store if purchased online.
